Record breaking Canadian car sales transforming dealership experience
Vancouver, BC – With 2015 poised to break Canadian car sales records, consumers are embracing the expansion of dealerships into the comfort of their homes.
Sixteen consecutive months of Canadian car sales growth combined with a desire to marry service quality with convenience has established Canada Drives as one of Canada’s fastest growing financial technology companies.
Consumers are showing great interest in combining the convenience of online purchasing with the car dealership experience, according to Cody Green, founder and Co-CEO of Canada Drives.
“Finding financing for a vehicle causes unnecessary stress since shopping online does not offer the same level of service and information that a dealership provides. We have empowered consumers to know their approval options before setting foot inside a dealership by allowing them to bring the purchasing experience into their homes,” says Green. “This has proved to be amazingly effective because dealerships are looking to better connect with residents in the communities they serve, and we have found a business model that enables enhanced local integration.”
Relocated to British Columbia from Saskatchewan in 2014, Canada Drives has exploded from six employees to over 80 in one year. Carefully collected consumer criteria combined with a robust dealership network allows Canada Drives to match auto finance consumers with local dealerships that will be able to facilitate in the financing and purchase of a vehicle.
This concept has proven to be a huge evolution for car sales across Canada by bringing Web 3.0 principles of a better customer experience to Canada’s online car sales industry. To Canada Drives this means allowing their customers to understand their auto finance options before ever having to walk into a dealership. This has allowed dealerships to be able to fund over $1 billion in loans through Canada Drives’ efforts over the past 12 months.
“The car buying experience is time consuming, so Canada Drives provides busy online consumers with the benefits of expertise, information and a tailored sales approach,” adds Green. “The car industry has generally been slow to evolve, but we are finding that more than ever before, dealerships are anxious to use technology to better meet the needs of their customers.”
Canada Drives anticipates hiring over 140 employees before the end of the year, and will continue to execute on the expansion of their programs in 2016.
